I'm Jessi and this is my little corner of blog world where I like to share whatever's on my heart. 

I'm an Army wife and grew up in an Air Force family so I am no stranger to the military life!

I stay home taking care of my hubby, our 4.5 year old son and 13 month old baby girl!

I'm passionate about lots of things in life but these are the main things and what you will read the most about here at Rising with the Son:

Faith: First and foremost I do my best to always seek God.  To grow in my relationship with Him and be the person He created me to be! I am in no way perfect in this aspect, I fail all the time, so please don't read this and think I have got it altogether.  I definitely do not!

Family:  I am blessed to be able to stay home right now to take care of my family.  I constantly strive to create a loving, comfortable, faith based home.

Health and Food:  I love to prepare wholesome, real food meals for my family.  I'm still a beginner when it comes to creating things from scratch but love learning and trying new things!  We also love to be active and exercise.

Crafts: I love to be creative and have recently learned to sew and crochet.  I don't make nearly enough time to be as crafty as I would like but enjoy sharing the things I do. 

Homeschooling:  This one is still very new and uncharted territory for me.  I have a desire to homeschool our children but have yet to know if this is what will be in store for us.  I am continuing to pray about this and do what I can!

I enjoy blogging and am as honest as possible in what I share with yall!  I know I'm no expert in anything I write about, but I've found blogging to be a great outlet, and encouraging when I hear how others enjoy and are inspired by what I write.
